Brand Profile DADU- Clothing Concepts is the brain child of Bengaluru based couple Iflu Rahman & Dadu, who happened to be the founder, CEO and Chief Designer cum MD of the brand respectively . Being a fashion designer by profession with more than 10 years of experience and with a unique sartorial sense, it has been a dream for Dadu to develop her own clothing line, which she gradually fulfilled with the help of her husband. It is her husband Iflu Rahman, who has a strong business acumen and previous experience in working with one of the top jewellery brands in the country, took initiative and materialized the label ‘DADU’ with the opening of their flagship store at Promenade Road, Bengaluru. Dadu's journey from a homemaker and mother of two to a successful entrepreneur has never been an easy one. Her devotion to her creations starts from meeting her clients personally, assimilating their requirements and perception for the attire. Sourcing the finest material for the requirement is the next step. Then giving it the desired hues and working on it with her team of 15 expert artisans. DADU is entering into new horizons with huge expansion plans and the upcoming stores will be located in Hyderabad, Chennai and Cochin.

Meet Our Fashion Designer

Dadu Chief Designer/Managing Director Hailing from a traditional family of planters in Kerala, Dadu's journey from a homemaker to a successful business woman stands as an example for those aspiring women who wish to become entrepreneurs. Having a passion for designing and fashion, she had a niggling sense to achieve something beyond the stereotypical role of a homemaker. She pursued a diploma in fashion designing from her hometown, Calicut and completed another 1.5 year diploma course in Bengaluru as well. Having confident enough to ventured into the world of fashion with 10 plus years of experience, Dadu's dream of her own clothing line finally comes true when she opened her flagship store of DADU at Promenade Road. For Dadu every customer is her muse. Being a fashion aficionado specialized in Indo Western fusion she keeps a perfect blend between the two and outdid herself in every creation. Her works are the flag bearers of her zest and zeal for designing.

Iflu Rahman Founder CEO -DADU Clothing Concepts We heard the saying "there is a woman behind every successful man" but it is vice versa in the case of Dadu. Iflu Rahman has been the driving force behind his wife Dadu's dream to establish a design studio. It was Iflu Rahman's vision that later materialized as DADU-clothing Concepts. His commendable business expertise and experience he has earned during his 12 year long career where he played the role of a front runner in Malabar Gold & Diamonds, one among the world's top jewellers, has fuelled the growth of DADU within such a short span of life. Mr. Rahman ventured into business in 2006 at an early age, partnering an event management company which evoked entrepreneurial skills by starting the first modelling school in Kerala, that later turned to be a huge success. He then associated with Malabar Group and played a vital role in Malabar Gold & Diamonds expansion drive across Karnataka. He owned the directorship of five retail ventures of the group. After his successful journey with Malabar which spans over a decade, in 2017 Iflu and Dadu jointly started their expedition in the world of fashion. When Dadu's creative excellence meets with Iflu Rahman's business acumen the saga of DADU- Clothing Concepts started travelling across the world.
